About IT Resource Group
IT Resource Group (ITRG) has its head office and main recycling centre on the Stella Gill Industrial Estate at Pelton Fell, Chester-le-Street, with a second recycling centre in Milton Keynes and a sales office in Sunderland. In January 2024 it absorbed National Computer Recycling, a business with more than 20 years of trading.
It evaluates and buys IT assets, collects equipment, sanitises data off-site and destroys hard drives at its own site or the client's. Equipment with value is remarketed and the rest recycled, with chain-of-custody paperwork and a client portal.
It also runs ITmobile for phones and ITdonate, which turns donated company IT into fundraising income for charities. The site lists ISO 9001, 14001 and 27001 plus T11, S2 and waste carrier registrations.
