The terms for using greenitad.co.uk and for sending us listings and updates.
Using the directory
- Green ITAD is a free directory for general information. It is not legal, technical or environmental advice.
- We work hard to keep listings accurate, but companies change their services, terms and licences. Before you hand over equipment, check the company’s current licences, terms and charges with them — and get the paperwork you need (such as a waste transfer note and data destruction certificate) from the company itself.
- We are not responsible for the services companies provide. Any agreement is between you and the company.
- Licences and certifications marked “verified” were found on the official register or list on the date shown. Anything marked “company says”, and every environmental claim, is the company’s own statement.
Listings
- Listings are free. We decide which companies to list, and we may edit, decline, hide or remove a listing — for example if a company has closed, doesn’t fit the directory, or we can’t confirm its details.
- Listings are ordered only by the visitor’s choice (distance, name or most details verified). We don’t sell higher positions.
- By sending us information about a company, you confirm that it is accurate to the best of your knowledge and that we may publish it (company details only — never your own contact details).
Links to other websites
We link to company websites and official registers. We aren’t responsible for their content. Some links may be affiliate links, marked “Ad”, which never affect the order of listings.
Liability
We provide the site “as is”. As far as the law allows, we aren’t liable for any loss arising from using it or relying on it. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
