About GAP Group
GAP Group runs a WEEE treatment facility at Gap House on Nest Road, Gateshead. It collects and treats all kinds of electrical waste – small electricals, fridges, TVs and displays, white goods, lamps, vapes and batteries – for businesses, waste brokers and local authorities across the UK.
Its ITAD and data destruction service collects hard drives, SSDs, laptops, mobile devices, tapes and removable media, registers each asset on arrival and destroys data at its own facility by shredding, certified sanitisation or degaussing, with a certificate per asset.
The group holds ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 and operates the Gateshead site as an approved authorised treatment facility.
