Verified means we found it on the official register or the scheme’s own list on the date shown. Company says means it is stated on the company’s website and we haven’t checked it yet. Registers can lag behind, so “not found” or “no longer current” is not an accusation. What these mean.

About Techwaste North East

Techwaste North East works from Benton Square Industrial Estate in Newcastle upon Tyne and serves businesses, law firms, schools, universities, NHS bodies and IT providers across Tyne and Wear, County Durham, Teesside and Northumberland.

It collects retired IT free of charge with no minimum quantity, wipes storage to recognised erasure standards and shreds any drive that cannot be wiped, then recycles the equipment. Its income comes from the value recovered from the kit rather than fees.

The site publishes its waste carrier registration and VAT number and offers collections seven days a week.
