Verified means we found it on the official register or the scheme’s own list on the date shown. Company says means it is stated on the company’s website and we haven’t checked it yet. Registers can lag behind, so “not found” or “no longer current” is not an accusation. What these mean.

About Restructa

Restructa was set up in Ayrshire in 2005 to repair, reuse and recycle televisions and display equipment ahead of the WEEE regulations, and has since grown into a wider WEEE recycler. It runs a display-recycling line for CRT, LCD, LED and plasma screens, laptops and PC monitors, and produces recycled CRT panel glass.

For organisations it offers secure disposal of redundant IT, including computers, monitors, servers, printers, network equipment and phones. Hard drives are either wiped or mechanically shredded, and a certificate of destruction is issued. Usable parts are recovered for repair and reuse before the rest is dismantled for recycling. Customers include local authority recycling centres, schools, colleges and universities, banks, government bodies, NHS trusts and retailers.

It collects across the UK with its own vehicles and CPC-qualified drivers with Disclosure Scotland checks, and lists a SEPA waste management licence, waste carrier registration and ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001.
