About R&T Electronic Recycling
R&T Electronic Recycling (formerly R&T Engineering) has recycled electronic equipment since around 2000, when it began recovering redundant telephone exchange equipment for BT; it later became BT's principal contractor for this work.
The firm strips printed circuit boards and electronic equipment to recover metals and precious metals, and says customers can share in the value recovered. It handles the remaining waste under its WEEE permit and offers the service to other companies and organisations that need to dispose of electronic equipment.
