About Asset Technology

Asset Technology, formerly Middleton Asset Management (trading as Asset Disposal), works from Cromwell Road in Bredbury, Stockport. It handles IT asset disposal for corporate, public sector and education clients, with no minimum collection quantity.

Drives are wiped with software that meets NIST 800-88 and IEEE 2883, or shredded or crushed to 6mm, at its facility or on site, with certificates either way. Working equipment is refurbished, redeployed or resold with rebates to the client, and the firm also sells refurbished IT with warranties and leasing, does repairs and decommissions data centres.

It lists ISO 9001, 14001 and 27001, Cyber Essentials, a T11 exemption and upper tier waste carrier registration. It says plainly that it is not ADISA certified.
