n2s (Network 2 Supplies) has worked in IT lifecycle management for more than two decades. Its head office is in Bury St Edmunds, with a reuse and remarketing site in Reading, an approved treatment facility at Huthwaite in Nottinghamshire and a research laboratory in Cambridge.
Its engineers carry out site audits, on-site and off-site data cleansing and physical destruction of drives and tapes (NCSC CAS-S approved), and planned data centre decommissioning. Equipment is refurbished and redeployed or resold where possible; the rest is recycled with PCB and cable granulators, and the company has developed methods to recover precious metals from circuit boards.
