Evergreen ICT Ltd runs an ICT recycling and treatment facility on Warne Park in Weston-super-Mare. It takes computers, servers, network and telecoms equipment from businesses, schools and members of the public, and also carries out de-installations and site closures for larger ICT firms.
Data-bearing items are erased to DoD/CESG-based standards and never resold; other components are reused or resold where possible and the rest is sorted into materials such as steel, copper and circuit boards for recycling. Business customers can choose an immediate per-kilo payment or a share of resale profits.
