About Converge (formerly Stone Group)

Stone Technologies, long known as Stone Group and now trading as Converge, is an IT hardware and services company headquartered at Granite One Hundred, Acton Gate, Stafford. Its IT recycling service uses an Environment Agency-permitted in-house facility in Staffordshire, with a regional hub at Bathgate in Scotland.

Collections are made in solid-sided GPS-tracked vehicles and are free above 25 qualifying units. Data is erased with Blancco, then equipment is stripped, refurbished for reuse - including supply to schools, charities and community groups - or recycled. Customers receive a recycling audit, certificate of disposal, social value report and rebates on qualifying kit; it plants a tree for each collection.
