Verified means we found it on the official register or the scheme’s own list on the date shown. Company says means it is stated on the company’s website and we haven’t checked it yet. Registers can lag behind, so “not found” or “no longer current” is not an accusation. What these mean.
Environmental claims
“States a 0% landfill policy”
This is the company’s own claim, as stated on its website. We haven’t checked it. How to judge “zero to landfill” claims.
About Absolute ITAD
Absolute ITAD (Absolute IT Asset Disposals Ltd) has provided IT asset disposal since 2003 from the Parker Centre on Mansfield Road, Derby. It works mainly with established and larger organisations, including manufacturers, construction firms, the NHS and government departments.
Equipment is collected in unmarked, GPS-tracked vans with CCTV and logged into an asset database. Data is erased at its own facility using certified erasure software, with a certificate for each device, and assets are then broken down for reuse or recycled. It also offers decommissioning and secure transport of IT assets between sites.
