About Ward

Ward (Donald Ward Ltd) is a family-owned waste management, skip hire and metal recycling company founded in 1940 and now run from Ilkeston in Derbyshire. It says it has 12 sites, more than 400 staff and over 100 vehicles.

Ward is an approved authorised treatment facility for WEEE at its Griffon Road site in Ilkeston. Its WEEE pages cover both commercial and household electrical waste, list IT and telecoms equipment such as computers, laptops and phones among the categories it handles, and describe shredding, dismantling and hazardous-waste treatment routes.
