About Uniq Recycling
Uniq Recycling runs a recycling facility at Derwent Park on the Hawkins Lane Industrial Estate in Burton upon Trent. It works with businesses, other ITAD firms, managed service providers, social enterprises and councils, handling PCs, laptops, monitors, phones and telecoms equipment.
Devices are collected in secure vehicles and wiped with commercial erasure software; items that cannot be wiped are shredded. On-site erasure and chargeable on-site shredding are also offered. Reusable kit is refurbished or bought back, and the company also repairs smartphones for business customers and supports charities with donated or refurbished hardware.
It runs weekly collection rounds across Burton, Derby, Birmingham and Nottingham and can collect nationally.
