About Southern Electrical Recycling
Southern Electrical Recycling is based on the Oak Park Industrial Estate in Portsmouth and handles all categories of WEEE, from IT and telecoms equipment to household appliances, lighting, medical devices and solar panels. It also recycles toner, batteries and catering equipment and offers confidential paper shredding.
For IT, data-bearing devices are destroyed on-site or off-site, and equipment that can be repaired is refurbished and resold, which the company says funds its free computer recycling service. Items beyond repair go to a licensed treatment facility.
