About Screen Share UK

Screen Share UK is a charitable incorporated organisation based in north London whose aim is to give every refugee in the UK a connected device and the skills to use it. It provides refurbished laptops and smartphones, free internet connectivity, digital skills training and laptop repair training, mostly through referrals from partner organisations.

It prefers laptops (which must switch on and have a built-in camera), phones and tablets, but also accepts monitors, PCs, keyboards and mice. Donated kit is repaired, upgraded and refurbished in-house; items it cannot use are sold to fund newer devices.

Businesses get free collection, an itemised receipt and impact reporting, and can request data sanitisation using EraseIT with a destruction certificate for each device. Individuals are asked to wipe devices themselves and are sent a postage label, or can arrange drop-off or collection in north London.
