Verified means we found it on the official register or the scheme’s own list on the date shown. Company says means it is stated on the company’s website and we haven’t checked it yet. Registers can lag behind, so “not found” or “no longer current” is not an accusation. What these mean.

“Says all technology recycling follows its zero landfill and zero e-waste export policies”

This is the company’s own claim, as stated on its website. We haven’t checked it. How to judge “zero to landfill” claims.

About REL Group

REL Group (Renfrewshire Electronics Limited) is based at Dubbs Road in Port Glasgow and has more than 20 years' experience in the electronics supply chain. Alongside supplier and inventory management for IT manufacturers, it repairs, refurbishes and upgrades computer-based products, handles product returns and warranty recovery, and resells excess and used IT equipment and components through its own online store.

For refurbishment work, business customers can deliver equipment or have it collected; REL then tests it and refurbishes as much as possible for resale. Equipment that cannot be reused goes to a select group of approved technology recycling partners, which REL says are audited every year by a third-party environmental consultancy, under its zero-landfill and no e-waste export policies.

It is a business-to-business service rather than a public drop-off point.
