Verified means we found it on the official register or the scheme’s own list on the date shown. Company says means it is stated on the company’s website and we haven’t checked it yet. Registers can lag behind, so “not found” or “no longer current” is not an accusation. What these mean.

Environmental claims

They say

“Says its WEEE recycling ensures full/complete diversion from landfill”

This is the company’s own claim, as stated on its website. We haven’t checked it. How to judge “zero to landfill” claims.

About Circulus (formerly WEEE Scotland)

Circulus, known as WEEE Scotland until 2026, has been processing electronic waste in Glasgow for over ten years from its licensed facility on Govan Road. It is an approved WEEE treatment facility and a certified B Corp.

Its IT asset disposal service collects end-of-life equipment, wipes or destroys data with certified methods and provides audit documentation; assets with resale value can be remarketed with a share of the proceeds going to the customer. It also repairs, refurbishes and remanufactures commercial electronics so organisations can redeploy them, and recycles WEEE that has reached the end of its life.
