Verified means we found it on the official register or the scheme’s own list on the date shown. Company says means it is stated on the company’s website and we haven’t checked it yet. Registers can lag behind, so “not found” or “no longer current” is not an accusation. What these mean.

About Recycling Lives Services

Recycling Lives Services is the commercial arm of the Recycling Lives group in Preston. Alongside general waste management, it runs a WEEE producer compliance scheme and a corporate electronic waste service for offices, retailers, manufacturers, facilities managers and public sector bodies, with scheduled collections, on-site containers and reporting for single sites or national estates.

Collected WEEE (which it says for businesses typically includes PCs, monitors, laptops, mobile phones and other IT kit) is assessed and tested for reuse and resold where possible, or dismantled and recycled at its own facilities and in prison workshops ('HMP Academies'). It describes a controlled, traceable process intended to manage the data risk of disposed devices, but does not describe a specific data-erasure or shredding service.

The group links its commercial work to rehabilitation programmes for ex-offenders run with the Onward Lives charity (formerly Recycling Lives Charity). Its AATF approvals cover the Gaskell House site in Preston and prison workshops at HMP Hatfield, Kirkham and Sudbury.
