SaferWaste is the secure destruction service of Collect and Recycle, with a depot on the Burscough Industrial Estate in West Lancashire. It collects from businesses across the UK on a scheduled or one-off basis.
Alongside confidential paper, product and textile shredding, it destroys hard drives, SSDs, storage from PCs and laptops, printer drives and mobile phones using industrial shredders, logging serial numbers where needed and issuing a certificate of destruction. Shredded material goes to recycling or energy recovery. On-site shredding is also mentioned.
