About Recycle IT 4U
Recycle IT 4U was formed in 2004 and is based at Cedar Court on Halesfield 17 in Telford. It collects IT and telecoms equipment from businesses, schools, colleges, universities and councils across the UK using its own vehicles and drivers, and says it serves more than 25 local authorities.
Data is wiped with NCSC-approved software, hard drives can be shredded, and it destroys other media such as USB sticks, tapes and phone memory. Reusable equipment is refurbished - it is a Microsoft Registered Refurbisher - and the rest recycled under the WEEE regulations.
It only accepts collection requests from businesses, not private individuals.
