HGC Technologies UK buys used laptops, MacBooks, desktops, servers, networking kit, phones and tablets from businesses, schools, IT providers and individuals, and sells refurbished and new equipment from its warehouse at Moor Park Industrial Centre in Watford.
It makes a firm offer from a list or photos, collects with its own van and pays at collection. Every data-bearing device is erased to NIST SP 800-88 and IEEE 2883 with a certificate per serial number, and sellers receive an asset register and a waste transfer note. Kit that cannot be reused is sent for recycling.
It also handles office closures and works with insolvency practitioners and relocation firms.
