Verified means we found it on the official register or the scheme’s own list on the date shown. Company says means it is stated on the company’s website and we haven’t checked it yet. Registers can lag behind, so “not found” or “no longer current” is not an accusation. What these mean.
About Environmental Computer Recycling
Environmental Computer Recycling works from a warehouse at Sterling Park in Woodgate Valley, Birmingham. It collects unwanted computers, servers, monitors, printers, plotters and telephone systems from businesses, schools, hospitals, councils and other public bodies.
Hard drives are either wiped with certified erasure software or shredded to fragments of 6-40mm, with certificates issued, and backup tapes and other media can also be shredded. Some equipment is refurbished for reuse by charities and other organisations at low cost.
Free collection applies to businesses within 20 miles of the warehouse with at least 20 working, recent items; other jobs are quoted.
