Verified means we found it on the official register or the scheme’s own list on the date shown. Company says means it is stated on the company’s website and we haven’t checked it yet. Registers can lag behind, so “not found” or “no longer current” is not an accusation. What these mean.
About Control Alt Repeat
Control Alt Repeat is a small Lancaster business started in late 2023 that has run a workshop at White Cross Business Park since 2024. It provides IT asset disposal for households, small businesses, schools, universities, charities and councils across Lancaster, Morecambe, Preston and South Cumbria, collecting laptops, PCs, servers, hard drives, networking kit, tablets, phones and peripherals free of charge locally.
Each item is logged; drives are wiped or physically destroyed with certificates issued, working equipment is refurbished and resold with a warranty, and the rest is dismantled for recycling. Items can also be dropped at the workshop or posted in.
The business also offers computer and console repairs, data recovery, media transfer, 3D printing and trade-ins on old laptops and PCs.
