Verified means we found it on the official register or the scheme’s own list on the date shown. Company says means it is stated on the company’s website and we haven’t checked it yet. Registers can lag behind, so “not found” or “no longer current” is not an accusation. What these mean.
About Total Shred
Total Shred Ltd is a confidential shredding firm that gives its address as Devonshire House on Honeypot Lane in Stanmore, in the London Borough of Harrow. Alongside paper shredding for businesses and households it runs a hard drive destruction service and a separate IT disposal service.
Hard drives, SSDs, USB sticks, backup tapes and server drives can be shredded at the customer's premises in a mobile unit or collected in sealed containers and destroyed at its facility. Each job gets a certificate of destruction listing serial numbers, and the site mentions degaussing as an extra step. It quotes hard drive shredding from £5 per device.
For IT disposal it collects servers, network kit, laptops, desktops, phones and tablets. Devices are wiped or destroyed, reused where possible and otherwise recycled, and customers receive waste transfer notes, destruction certificates and, on request, asset lists.
