About Technimove
Technimove is an IT infrastructure services company founded in 1998, with its UK head office on Hawker Road in Croydon and a City of London office at Minster Court. Most of its work is data-centre migration, relocation, installation and professional IT services, and it also has offices in the US, Ireland and Germany.
Its IT asset disposal service collects and decommissions IT equipment, wipes drives on-site or off-site using NIST 800-88 and DoD 5220.22-M software, and offers crushing or shredding to 6mm. Usable equipment is refurbished and remarketed, sometimes bought from the client, and some laptops and servers are donated to schools and charities. The rest is recycled through what it describes as its own purpose-built recycling facility, with certificates issued for each project.
The firm says it uses security-cleared engineers for government and defence disposal work.
