About Tech Recycle

Tech Recycle is run by IT Refurbish Limited from Bridge Farm near Arborfield, south of Reading. It collects redundant IT and electrical equipment from businesses of all sizes across the UK, and individuals can drop off kit at the site.

Working drives are wiped with multi-pass overwriting. Faulty or non-erasable media is physically destroyed, and certificates are issued at different levels of detail. Equipment is refurbished and reused where possible; the rest is broken down for recycling in the UK.

It also offers WEEElieBin on-site collection bins for electrical waste and a confidential paper shredding service.
