Verified means we found it on the official register or the scheme’s own list on the date shown. Company says means it is stated on the company’s website and we haven’t checked it yet. Registers can lag behind, so “not found” or “no longer current” is not an accusation. What these mean.

About Sustainable Tech 4 Good (ST4G)

Sustainable Tech 4 Good grew out of the Stevenage data-services firm Veritas Digital Services and describes itself as a mission-led business. It takes redundant laptops, desktops, phones, tablets, servers and networking kit from businesses after IT refreshes or relocations, erases data in its own erasure suite to HMG Infosec Standard 5 Enhanced with certificates by serial number, and degausses or shreds drives that fail.

Around 80% of what it receives is repaired and refurbished. Older devices are given through its Tech 4 Inclusion programme to people referred by charity and not-for-profit partners (it reports nearly 8,000 donated so far), while higher-value equipment is sold through its Tech 4 Change shop to fund donations; it may also buy equipment that still holds value. Business services such as decommissioning, data recovery and buy-back are delivered with the sister company.

It is the refurbishment partner of the Cambridge Online digital-inclusion charity, offering free collection of corporate donations and running phone donation boxes in Cambridge and Peterborough.
