About Sunspeed
Sunspeed deploys, migrates and decommissions data centre and workplace IT infrastructure for enterprises and data centre operators. Its decommissioning service covers auditing the environment, removing hardware, cabling and containment, and clearing data halls ready for refit or reuse.
Retired equipment goes to its in-house asset disposal team for WEEE-compliant recycling or remarketing. Data destruction options include on-site or off-site hard drive shredding, degaussing and wiping with Certus software, all backed by destruction certificates.
At the end of a project customers receive asset records, recycling confirmation, destruction certificates and waste transfer notes. The company states it holds ISO 27001 and is a registered waste carrier.
