About Recycle IT 4 Free

Recycle IT 4 Free was set up in 2013 and works from secure premises at Swindon Village in Cheltenham. It collects computers, laptops, servers, network kit and printers from businesses, destroys data (off site, or on site hard drive destruction for sensitive data) and then repairs equipment for reuse or sends it for recycling.

Collection is free for quantities of reusable IT; broken or low-grade WEEE such as old monitors and TVs is collected for a charge. A 'Silver Lining' option passes half the agreed value of newer equipment to a local children's therapy CIC. Small quantities and household users can drop items off by appointment.
