Verified means we found it on the official register or the scheme’s own list on the date shown. Company says means it is stated on the company’s website and we haven’t checked it yet. Registers can lag behind, so “not found” or “no longer current” is not an accusation. What these mean.
About REC Assets
REC Assets works from a unit on the Chadwell Heath Industrial Estate in Dagenham. It focuses on reuse rather than recycling: electrical and IT items collected by waste management companies (and from individual clients) are data-wiped with dedicated software, cleaned, repaired, graded and listed for sale on several online marketplaces using its own software.
Suppliers can arrange regular or one-off collections, or drop items off, and are paid a share of the sale proceeds monthly. It says most WEEE can be collected free from the London area, usually within one to two days. Asset tags and stickers are removed, hard drives can be destroyed on request, and suppliers receive a report on what happened to their items.
