About TCL Reuse Centre

TCL Reuse Centre is a registered charity shop and reuse centre on Uphall Road in Ilford, raising money for Teen Challenge London, an outreach and rehabilitation charity. It accepts donations of furniture, white goods, large and small electrical appliances, flat-screen TVs and household goods, which volunteers clean and repair before resale.

Items are sold to the public at modest prices, with discounts for people on income-based benefits and a referral scheme. It offers free collection of suitable donations across much of east London and nearby Essex, and donors can also drop items at the centre during opening hours.

IT equipment is a minor part of its work: the home page says it reuses computers, but there is no business IT disposal or data-wiping service.
