About Give IT Forward

Give IT Forward is a limited company based on the Chadwell Heath Industrial Estate in Dagenham, in the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham. It grew out of its founder's volunteer work refurbishing equipment for digitally excluded families during the 2020 school closures.

Individuals and companies send photos of unwanted laptops, desktops and other electronics through an online form; items can then be posted via Evri drop-off points across the UK or dropped at the processing centre by appointment. Devices are data-wiped, repaired where possible, and either resold to fund the work or passed free to registered charities, schools and community centres.

For businesses it offers WEEE collection, GDPR-compliant data wiping and IT disposal, with the service described as free mainly where the equipment has value.
