About ReBOOT (Moray Computer Recycling)
ReBOOT was set up in 1997 as the first computer recycling project in the north of Scotland and is now an independent charity based on Greshop Industrial Estate in Forres. It takes in IT equipment from households, businesses and public bodies, books every item into its database, wipes hard drives to HMG Infosec 5 or destroys them, and refurbishes what it can for sale at low prices.
It advertises free IT recycling, free collection and free data sanitisation for householders and businesses, and also offers computer repairs and sells refurbished systems in its shop and online.
