About Electrotek Solutions

Electrotek Solutions Ltd runs a computer recycling and processing facility at the Training & Technology Centre on Haxter Close, Roborough, in Plymouth. It collects redundant IT and other WEEE from organisations, aiming to refurbish and reuse as much as possible and recycle the rest for raw materials.

Data-bearing media are logged against the waste transfer note at collection, carried in locked boxes and wiped (Secure Erase, HMG IS5 Enhanced or DoD) or degaussed and crushed with a Garner system; on-site destruction with mobile equipment is also offered. Certificates and waste notes are available through a client portal. It sells refurbished equipment online and donates kit to local charities and community groups.
