About Chaps IT Recycling
Chaps IT Recycling works from a unit at Thorncliffe Business Park in Chapeltown, north Sheffield. It collects redundant IT from businesses, schools, charities and public bodies around the UK, wipes or destroys the data, and grades each item for resale or recycling.
Its pricing works on 'offset credits': equipment with resale value pays for the handling of items that only have scrap value, and any surplus can be paid back as a rebate. It also offers on-site hard drive shredding at a fixed quoted price.
Householders cannot book a home collection, but can drop equipment at the Sheffield unit or send it in by post.
