About Voice & Data Resale (VDR)
Voice & Data Resale buys surplus IT and telecoms equipment from businesses - laptops, servers, storage, Cisco and other networking kit, and business phone systems from Avaya, Mitel, Nortel and others - and refurbishes it for resale through its online shop and trade network. It says the family business has been trading since 1985 and handles anything from a single switch to a full data-centre clear-out.
Collections are free and insured anywhere in the UK. Equipment is tested and graded, drives and tapes are wiped with certificates of destruction, network kit is reset, and anything with no resale value is recycled under the WEEE regulations. Payment is usually made on the day the equipment arrives. Individuals can also sell equipment through the site.
