Data erasure to NCSC standards with ICO-compliant certificates

Company says — stated on its website, not yet checked by us

Verified means we found it on the official register or the scheme’s own list on the date shown. Company says means it is stated on the company’s website and we haven’t checked it yet. Registers can lag behind, so “not found” or “no longer current” is not an accusation. What these mean.

Environmental claims

They say

“Says nothing goes to landfill; non-reusable devices are dismantled for parts and materials recovery”

This is the company’s own claim, as stated on its website. We haven’t checked it. How to judge “zero to landfill” claims.

About TTB CircularIT

TTB CircularIT is the commercial arm of Tech-Takeback, which has been running since 2016 and split in 2025-26 into this business and the separate Tech-Takeback Foundation charity. It is registered in Burgess Hill and processes devices in Shoreham-by-Sea, West Sussex.

It collects end-of-use business IT in sealed crates, erases data to NCSC standards with certificates, and either redeploys devices back to the customer, refurbishes them for reuse or dismantles them for parts and recycling. It also runs tech amnesty days for staff and clients, and household collections and drop-offs around Brighton and Shoreham. Some reusable laptops are donated to the Tech-Takeback Foundation for people in digital poverty.
