Verified means we found it on the official register or the scheme’s own list on the date shown. Company says means it is stated on the company’s website and we haven’t checked it yet. Registers can lag behind, so “not found” or “no longer current” is not an accusation. What these mean.

About TECHSALV

TECHSALV, a subsidiary of Ecosalv Limited, works mainly with public sector bodies, schools and SMEs. It collects laptops, desktops, servers, monitors, phones, tablets and loose drives from across the UK, then erases them with certified software (Blancco and Certus for computers, Phonecheck for phones) or physically destroys data-bearing media, and supplies erasure certificates and asset reports.

What a customer pays depends on the age of the kit: newer devices in good condition can be bought, mid-age equipment is recycled free, and older equipment with no resale value is erased and recycled free but carries a collection charge. Where data-bearing assets cannot leave a client's premises, drives can be removed on site and left with the client.

The company states it is ISO 27001:2022 certified. Equipment that erases successfully is reused where possible; the rest is broken down for recycling.
