Verified means we found it on the official register or the scheme’s own list on the date shown. Company says means it is stated on the company’s website and we haven’t checked it yet. Registers can lag behind, so “not found” or “no longer current” is not an accusation. What these mean.

About Tec Hut

Tec Hut works from a unit on Woodford Park Industrial Estate in Winsford, Cheshire, and collects redundant IT from businesses, schools and public bodies around the UK. Collected kit is logged, data-wiped with Aiken erasure software or physically destroyed (hard drives are drilled at its own facility), then tested and graded.

Working equipment is refurbished and sold through its own web shop, eBay stores and an export trade desk; the rest is recycled under the WEEE rules. Customers get an asset report and certificates of data destruction.

The firm also runs a confidential paper shredding service, with bins and consoles collected on a schedule or as one-off jobs and shredded off site.
