About Shredco UK

Shredco UK is a confidential shredding business whose waste-carrier registration is at Stainland, near Halifax. Its mobile shredding trucks destroy material at the customer's premises, and it works for businesses and households, offering one-off purges and regular collections.

Its digital media destruction service covers computer and copier hard drives, CDs and disk drives, backups, microfiche, X-rays and video and cassette tapes. After a site visit is booked, the media is shredded in the truck and a certificate of destruction is issued.

The company says it is certified to ISO 9001 and BS EN 15713, that its staff are DBS checked, and that it won New Business of the Year at the Evening Courier Business Awards in 2018 and a 2021 SME Northern Enterprise Award for document shredding.
