Verified means we found it on the official register or the scheme’s own list on the date shown. Company says means it is stated on the company’s website and we haven’t checked it yet. Registers can lag behind, so “not found” or “no longer current” is not an accusation. What these mean.
About Rebooted
Rebooted is a charity that connects prisoners, prison leavers and their families to digital learning. It rescues working laptops that businesses and individuals no longer need, has them securely erased, installs ChromeOS Flex with educational content and gives them free of charge - with ongoing technical support - to people leaving prison who have been studying, and to children with a parent in prison, identified through prison staff and partner charities.
Data erasure is carried out by its ADISA-certified partner Getech rather than a simple factory reset, and donors can receive a certificate of erasure; organisations needing security sign-off are invited to discuss documentation first. Donors email to confirm their laptops are compatible and to arrange sending or collection, and companies planning an IT refresh can set up corporate donation partnerships.
