About North Wales Recycle I.T.

North Wales Recycle I.T. is a not-for-profit community interest company set up in 2019 by the founders of a local computer sales and repair business. It runs a processing centre on the industrial estate in Llangefni, Anglesey.

It collects redundant IT and other WEEE from businesses, schools and councils, erases all data with certified software (on-site destruction can be arranged) and refurbishes what it can. Some refurbished machines are sold to fund the work and others are donated to schools, charities and community groups across Wales, which can apply for devices. Members of the public can drop off old laptops, desktops, tablets and phones on weekdays or post them in.
