About MGH Scotland

MGH Scotland has been collecting and processing redundant computers, phones and other electrical equipment for more than 20 years from its recycling centre at Westfield, Cumbernauld, on the edge of Glasgow.

Its own tracked vehicles and security-checked staff collect from sites across mainland UK. Hard drives are wiped with certificated software, faulty drives are degaussed and destroyed, and reusable equipment is refurbished; it says it has refurbished over half a million computers. It can also wipe drives on the customer's site and recovers circuit boards and precious metals.

Customers are mainly public sector bodies, NHS, education and corporate clients.
