About Kings Computer Recycling
Kings Computer Recycling (KCR) is a small business based in Christchurch, Dorset, set up to clear unwanted IT equipment for schools and businesses in southern England. It has worked from Bournemouth to Wareham and beyond, taking on small jobs within days.
Collected equipment goes to its premises, where hard drives are removed straight away for erasure or destruction. It uses hardware-based erasure that also clears hidden disk areas, and can secure-erase NVMe drives. Equipment is then refurbished and redeployed, or broken down and recycled through local recycling firms.
Collections are free around Bournemouth and free elsewhere in the south for ten or more items; larger clearances are handled with a licensed local waste clearance partner.
