About Comtek Network Systems

Comtek Network Systems repairs telecoms and networking hardware at component level from its base on Deeside Industrial Park in Flintshire. It works on brands such as Cisco, Ciena, Nortel, Juniper, Arista and HPE, and sells refurbished equipment and spares.

Its decommissioning service sends engineers to recover redundant equipment, including large server estates. Recovered kit is inventoried and then reused to support repair contracts, resold through its sales channels (with revenue sharing) or recycled under the WEEE rules if it has no resale value. Hard drives and SSDs are wiped with recognised sanitisation software, or shredded when they go for disposal.
