Verified means we found it on the official register or the scheme’s own list on the date shown. Company says means it is stated on the company’s website and we haven’t checked it yet. Registers can lag behind, so “not found” or “no longer current” is not an accusation. What these mean.

About ComplyIT

ComplyIT is a small IT asset disposal business run from a unit on the Arkgrove Industrial Estate in Stockton-on-Tees. It was set up by Chris Allen, who previously worked in WEEE and IT recycling, and serves organisations of all sizes from sole traders to large companies.

The company collects IT equipment from anywhere on the UK mainland in tracked, unmarked vans, then takes it back to its CCTV-monitored facility for processing. It overwrites data with wiping software or physically shreds media at the customer's site, tags and tracks each asset, and issues destruction certificates, waste transfer paperwork and asset reports.

Working equipment is refurbished and resold, which can produce a rebate for the customer; anything that cannot be reused goes for WEEE recycling through partner firms. Quotes are worked out from the number of assets.
