About Wakefield Technology 4 All Hub

Wakefield Technology 4 All Hub started in January 2021 to help families without devices during lockdown, and now runs from Stonebridge House in Horbury, Wakefield. It takes retired home and business computers and gives refurbished devices, set-up and IT help free of charge, mainly to children and young people in the WF postcode area and, where it can, to adults and small charities.

Donated laptops, PCs and smart devices are wiped with licensed KillDisk software, and donors can ask for an erasure certificate. Collections of donations are free; it prefers laptops and desktops under about six years old.
