About Thames Security Shredding
Thames Security Shredding is the shredding arm of the Thames Group, a Basildon transport business founded in the 1970s, and has offered secure shredding since 2007. Alongside confidential paper shredding, consoles and archive storage, it destroys hard drives with dedicated shredders and crushers (typically to 2mm particles) and also shreds CDs and other media.
Its WEEE service collects IT equipment such as computers, laptops, monitors, printers and hard drives along with other electricals, and handles processing and remarketing; customers can ask for data to be wiped from computers and drives. It works across London and Essex.
