About Green Plan-it
Green Plan-it was set up in 2007 and is based at Eco House on the Hill Top Industrial Estate at Bardon Hill, near Coalville. It is mainly a confidential shredding company, with scheduled and one-off collections of paper for businesses across the UK, shredded to the EN 15713 standard.
It also offers media and hard drive destruction: staff collect old data-bearing devices from the customer's premises, destroy them and issue a certificate of destruction. Through its waste management service it collects and recycles WEEE, naming servers, PCs, laptops, network equipment, printers, photocopiers, monitors and telephone equipment among the items it will securely destroy and recycle.
Collections are made in tracked vans with a waste transfer note, and WEEE jobs are priced individually.
