About Computers 4 Good

Computers 4 Good, until recently called Computers 4 Charity, is the working name of the charity Digital Pipeline, based at the Powerhub Business Centre in Maidstone. Its team has refurbished computers since the 1990s.

It accepts laptops, PCs and tablets from businesses and individuals, wipes the data free of charge with certificates available, and upgrades the machines for free donation to charities, schools and people facing digital exclusion. Surplus parts and refurbished devices are sold to fund the work, and young people are trained in the refurbishment process. Business donors receive CO2e reduction certificates.
